The Electronics industry is targeted to be one of the SC Upstate's "Centers of Excellence." Greenville, South Carolina is currently home for the worldwide headquarters for Kemet and the surrounding counties have a number of world class electronics companies as well. SynTerra was retained to do cost estimates and conceptual design on a proposed upstate semi-conductor that required 3 mgd of water per day at start up and eventually 6 mgd. The company worked on pre-permitting for the discharge and with local sewer and water utilities to develop a plan.
