Kathy Garvin

Quality and Resources Coordinator

Kathy is a Certified Environmental Planner (AICP) with 15 years of experience integrating broad and disparate datasets to support industrial and governmental clients in environmental decision-making and regulatory reporting. Her project work is largely regulated under coal combustion residual (CCR), NEPA, RCRA, and CERCLA environmental programs, as well as under state-specific environmental programs. Her expertise lies in data quality assurance and control, site and impact assessment, data management, GIS analysis, regulatory compliant reporting, sampling design, and technical writing. Kathy is also a certified facilitator with experience supporting stakeholder teams in their identification of shared objectives and the path toward desired outcomes with respect to compliance, site assessment, and land use.

Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University and a Master of Environmental Resource Management from the University of South Carolina. She also holds a Master of Fine Arts in Writing from Converse College.
