Jim has over 15 year’s of Information Technology and Engineering experience in both government and private sector.  Areas of focus include software development, research and development, network and system engineering, information security, database administration and leadership.  Jim completed his Bachelors of Sciences in Computer Engineering from the University of Hartford in 2012.

Jerry Wylie, P.G.

Vice President of Sciences | Principal

Jerry Wylie, leader of our Sciences Business Unit, has more than 35 years of experience in environmental consulting. He leads and supervises staff professionals on multidisciplinary projects for various industrial, municipal, governmental, and utility clients. The Sciences Business Unit is comprised of scientists with experience across multiple disciplines, including geology, hydrogeology, groundwater modeling, data science, geographic information systems, biology, chemistry, and environmental engineering. Jerry’s experience and expertise include site assessment/remediation, contaminant hydrogeology, fractured bedrock evaluation, and coal combustion product assessment and compliance.

Jerry is registered as a Professional Geologist in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Clemson University and a Master of Science degree in Geology from Auburn University.

Danielle Bullis

Human Resources Administrator

Danielle Bullis has 4 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on supporting organizational efficiency and employee engagement. Her background includes recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and Human Resources compliance. Danielle also has experience coordinating projects, streamlining internal processes, and supporting cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Danielle earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama and is currently pursuing her MBA at Clemson University, where she is further developing her expertise in business strategy, financial management, and organizational leadership. She is committed to continuous professional growth and bringing innovative, people-focused solutions to the workplace.

In her personal life, Danielle enjoys staying active through fitness, spending time with her rescue dog, reading, and trying new restaurants.

Nathan Pollock

Business Development Manager

Nate Pollock spent 7 years helping manufacturers address production maintenance and reliability challenges. He has held various commercial-related roles, most notably as a Strategic Account Manager, overseeing accounts valued at more than 70 million dollars annually. He has worked extensively with a wide variety of manufacturing clients, including CPG, automotive, aerospace, electrical components, and pulp and paper operations.

Nate graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management. He has given back to the community of Greenville by serving as Campaign Coordinator for the United Way of Greenville County.

Craig Miller, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Craig Miller’s core experience is in accounting, financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, and forecasting. Additional areas of expertise include process improvements and M&A integration. He leads and supervises accounting professionals in maintaining compliance with accounting regulations and project contractual obligations. Craig’s vast experience and expertise include public accounting, corporate accounting, and financial reporting in a variety of industries, including engineering consulting, construction, manufacturing, and not-for-profit.

Craig is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in South Carolina. He holds a Master of Professional Accountancy degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, both achieved at Clemson University.

Travis Waters, MBA

President & CEO, Board Chair

Travis Waters, who has led companies in sales, marketing, and business operations for the past 20 years, is experienced in attracting new business segments and negotiating strategic contracts. He has managed multimillion-dollar global accounts and has developed key business verticals with revenue exceeding $900 million. He has held roles in executive sales and operations leadership for large multinational organizations, overseeing P&L, national contracts, supply chain management, and lead generation. He also has been responsible for the development of customer service, marketing, SEO and web development, lead generation, CRM systems, and acquisition targets. Travis also has an entrepreneurial spirit; he has succeeded in several business ventures of his own.

Travis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering as well as an MBA, both achieved at Clemson University. He has given back to his community over the years through volunteer work. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation and volunteered as a driver for Meals on Wheels America.

Kathy Webb, P.G.

Kathy Webb, who co-founded SynTerra (then known as The Fletcher Group) in 1992, has completed remedial investigations and regulatory compliance projects associated with Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) facilities, state and federal Superfund sites, solid waste landfills, brownfield redevelopment, utility coal combustion residual (CCR) management units, and regulated industrial facilities. She has supported litigation as an expert witness related to chlorinated solvents, metals, and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).

Kathy is known for her practical assessment strategy with the perspective of the client’s business objectives. She routinely evaluates groundwater corrective action systems for effectiveness and progress toward achieving compliance objectives. She has co-authored a trade journal paper with case studies of low-impact remedial strategies. Kathy is a licensed Professional Geologist in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Tom Dunham, P.G.

Tom Dunham has 30 years of experience as an environmental consultant. He is a licensed or professional geologist in North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware, and Kentucky. His technical experience includes agrichemical and PCB investigations and remediation, RCRA, State lead Superfund, petroleum, and Phase I and II environmental site assessments. Tom was the primary author of an RFI work plan and directed the field activities, which involved soil, sediment, surface water, and groundwater characterization of a metals and chlorinated solvent plume and the preparation of RCRA Part B Permit renewals.

Tom is a program manager for industrial clients and has extensive environmental regularity experience throughout the mid-Atlantic and Southern states. His project experience includes sites in more than 15 states, India, and Malawi, Africa.

David Duncklee, P.G.

Senior Market Leader | Principal

David Duncklee has more than 37 years of experience as an environmental consultant, with 34 of those as a licensed geologist working on environmental assessment and remediation projects throughout North Carolina. He is certified by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Waste Management, Superfund Section as a Registered Site Manager under the Inactive Hazardous Sites Program. David is qualified as an Expert in Environmental Cleanup Costs by the North Carolina Superior Court.

David’s project experience includes sites in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Texas, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Indiana, Massachusetts, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Utah, Nevada, the United Kingdom, and South Africa. He co-founded and served as president of Duncklee & Dunham, PC for more than 24 years.

Mark Taylor, P.G.

Principal 

Mark has worked more than 40 years in natural-resource based industries. His expertise includes mine geology and mine engineering, hydrogeologic and geotechnical investigations, solid and hazardous waste management, and regulatory negotiations. He has published peer-reviewed papers about coal geology, ore geochemistry, mineralogy, and solid waste management. He is a leading expert in mining and environmental permitting for litigation support.

Mark is licensed as a Professional Geologist in South Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Washington. He serves on the boards of the Upstate Red Cross and Upstate Forever. He served on the South Carolina Board of Registration for Geologists for six years. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Geological Sciences from The University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Science from Harvard University.
