Andy Willis, P.E.

Andy Willis has more than 35 years of experience as a mining and environmental consultant. He is a registered Professional Engineer in 10 states and is licensed as a Professional Surveyor in West Virginia. Based in the heart of Appalachia, Andy has worked extensively throughout the region as well as having experience in Midwestern and Western mining districts. His technical experience includes environmental permitting, mineral reserve estimation, mine feasibility studies, and producing plans for underground ventilation and ground control. Andy has experience in various aspects of due diligence including environmental site assessments, reclamation liability estimates, and preparation of asset retirement obligation reports. Serving as a subject matter expert, Andy has provided litigation support and expert testimony for attorneys throughout the Appalachian region.
Along with his professional registrations, Andy holds certifications as a small UAS pilot, MSHA Impoundment Inspector/Instructor, and Pre-Blast Surveyor. Andy is an engineering graduate of The Ohio State University.
