Director of Business Development - Greenville, SC

Role Overview: The Director of Business Development role develops, coordinates, and leads strategic business development activities to grow and diversify revenue. This position serves on the Management Team and is responsible to working with each business unit to identify and assess opportunities for revenue growth and assist with implementation of revenue-related growth tactics. This position is tasked with developing and implementing a revenue growth strategy to expand and position the firm as a leader providing science and engineering consulting services.

Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessor - Greenville, SC

We are seeking an experienced environmental Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessor. The position will support multiple clients and projects, with the common theme of characterizing the interactions of organisms (e.g., people, wildlife, fish, invertebrates) and chemicals. The day-to-day work will vary and may involve data management, risk assessment, statistical analyses, literature review, field work, and writing. PFAS Practice Leader - Charlotte, NC

SynTerra is looking for an experienced environmental professional to lead our PFAS environmental services. The successful candidate will have experience consulting on PFAS, with thorough knowledge on PFAS chemistry. Industrial Hygiene Technician - Cary, NC

SynTerra is looking for an Industrial Hygiene Technician to join our growing Cary office. You should have 0-3 years’ experience with projects related to asbestos, lead-based paint, microbial assessments, indoor air quality, and other industrial hygiene projects. This position requires the ability to work independently on specific tasks and in collaboration with clients and other environmental professionals and requires the ability to travel to remote project sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting staff with the collection of samples for laboratory analysis
  • Air monitoring for asbestos and other hazards
  • Report preparation
  • Ability to pass training courses specific to asbestos, lead and mold
  • Required to pass medical exam and wear a negative pressure respirator
  • Required to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights

Requirements:

  • Conducts engineering analyses, develops designs, and assists in the development of construction drawings

Mid-Level Environmental Engineer - Cary, NC

The Mid-Level Environmental Engineer’s main role is to manage multiple projects in collaboration with Business Unit Leaders. The responsibility of this role is to take projects from original concept and proposal phase through final implementation and closure. This position interfaces with all project aspects, including clients, other stakeholders, and vendors.

  • Fill the lead position in client-, project-, and resource management.
